(ABOVE) LOST SCENE - MARCOS AND KEV FIGHTING - FROM 'BLUESMOKE - NAMES ARE FOR TOMBSTONES' 1997'

Director Ian Burnett - "If I ever get round to release a directors cut of 'BLUESMOKE - NAMES ARE FOR TOMBSTONES' this is one scene that I will be putting back into the fight scene. Its a very real and brutal fight between Kev and Marcos, who only has a cardboard box to defend himself. The two actors really went for it and it shows. Kev went for Marcos with that baseball bat, and Marcos really threw Kev against the wall and put him on the floor". Marcos Dinsdale - "We did a few takes of the scene, and I got a good few cracks across my hands from that baseball bat, surprisingly no broken fingers though, he really was trying to hit me with that thing". Ian Burnett - "By the time I realised I hadn't edited this scene into the fight scene it was too late, I had already edited in the scene where Marcos shoots Kev and kills him. As we were on a tight deadline to get it finished and were due to be thrown out the editing room anytime the fight scene had to do without this scene".
