(ABOVE) LOST SCENE - JASON DECAPITATING BAD GUY - FROM 'BLUESMOKE - NAMES ARE FOR TOMBSTONES' 1997'

"After plunging a sword into one of Henderson's men, the idea was that Jason senses someone behind him, quickly spins around and decapitates another bad guy" explains Director Ian Burnett.  "This was another scene we shot for the fight scene that didn't quite turn out how we hoped. We did a lot of takes for this one from all different angles. A lot of time had been spent on the dummy so that it's head would roll off, but again it just wasn't convincing enough when we saw the rushes, so it had to be dropped". "If I ever get the budget to do the directors cut, I would put this scene back in and replace the dummy with a C.G. dummy, blood spraying everywhere, the kind of effects you can do now". Jason Briggs - "Don't ever work with dummies"
