(ABOVE) LOST SCENE - HENDERSON'S
ESCAPE - FROM 'BLUESMOKE 2000'
Director Ian Burnett - "For BLUESMOKE 2000 we used pretty much everything we shot, it's all in the finished film, except this scene. In the scene we see Henderson climbing down the fence surrounding Monkhouse Institute were he has been held for many years and running off to freedom". The scene followed on from were Sir Singen Smythe visits Henderson at Monkhouse Institute, Henderson hints to Smythe that 'it will be the last time he sees him', hence the pending escape plan. "The scene didn't make the final cut because I wasn't happy with it, it could have been shot better and we didn't have enough time to do it justice". "We eventually find out at the end of BLUESMOKE 2000 that Henderson has escaped, although there's no real explanation as to how I think we got away with that" The actual footage of the scene has now gone missing which is why we are unable to show any actual stills from it. |
