THE DIRECTOR SPEAKS -

Bluesmoke Director Ian Burnett has spoken about plans for the next installment of Bluesmoke.

"This next film is going to be a return to full on stupidity again in the way that 'Bluesmoke - names are for tombstones' was. We've got some exciting new locations lined up, we've already been shooting some stuff in Florida. It's going to have some of the best action scenes you've ever seen, combined with some fine performances. We're hoping this is the film that puts Bluesmoke under the spotlight and gets us the attention we deserve, who knows maybe a couple of Oscars too."

"I can't say too much about the script, but we've got all the usual suspects in there and the largest cast of villains in a Bluesmoke film ever, Bluesmoke are gonna have their hands full, there's going to be more action in this one than all three of them put together,."

"We're going to be shooting the next film on digital equipment again like we did with the last film, so we'll have a great looking picture and sound to match it. Hopefully we'll start shooting properly later this year, we've got pretty much as long as we need to shoot it, but I'm confident we can have the film ready for a Summer 2002 release."
