COLT SPEED -

An orphan, Colt Speed was raised in a secret London monastery by blind Ninja Master Minging. Minging raised "Tiny prawn cracker"  like a son, and taught him the ways of the Ninja training him in the martial arts.

Unlike his two colleagues - Buzz Austin and Jake Hart Speed's commitment to Bluesmoke is the cause and not  the money, Speed is a true crime fighter forever loyal to his boss Sir SIngen Smythe, and always the one to suggest going to his rescue.

Speed's other full time job is acting as peacemaker between colleagues Jake Hart and Buzz Austin's constant bickering which has often been the cause for many of their blunders.

Speed is very often Bluesmoke's saving grace, when all has failed (Often) and his colleagues have given up (Very often), Speed will be the one to provide the solution and save them from another failed mission and more embarrassing headlines and news reports. When once asked by reporter Ronald McDonald if the rumours of sending innocent people to prison were true, Speed replied "Well maybe a few, but hey, but nobody's perfect."

Speed acts on instinct, sensing danger at every turn, unlike his colleagues who will open fire for no good reason, Speed is very rarely seen using a gun, he prefers to rely on his vast martial arts skills or often his trademark swords.

Speed's time off from Bluesmoke is usually spent with Master Minging meditating, practicing his Chinese cooking and generally humouring the blind fool.

Colt Speed is also the drummer in Bluesmoke's struggling band - FULL CRY, who wrote and recorded the title song for the Bluesmoke films - 'BLUESMOKE'.

Colt Speed is played by Jason Briggs whose Zen like portrayal of Speed has won him many fans throughout the martial arts world.
