CASTING UPDATE -

"We have not yet had all major players confirm their involvement in the next Bluesmoke film yet" revealed producer Marcos Dinsdale.

"So far confirmed we have Pik, who's trying to get sober for the part. Richard Usher has agreed on the conditions of playing a villain's role and at least another four roles as well. We're almost certain to have all the regular bit part actors make up the numbers for the villains, and as with each new film we've also got a few new faces in there, there's going to be more minor roles this time."

There has been NO confirmation on Jason Briggs, who was said to be unhappy with the public attention the film's have given him and is unhappy as being typecast as "some bad martial arts star." Rob Stott who play's Henderson has yet to confirm any involvement though probably will do due to his acknowledgement of already being typecast in the role. "The only other roles I get always call for me to wear a black curly wig and go around torturing and biting people. The way I see it, Sean Connery got typecast as 007, I'm typecast as Henderson so  really, its okay." he admitted.

Sir Adrian Parker who plays Sir Singen Smythe has released this statement. "It would be my honour to again reprise my role as Sir Singen Smythe in a fourth Bluesmoke film. Smythe has become a hugely popular character within the world of film, and without me there could be no more Bluesmoke, the success of the films is mostly down to me and my character. I have agreed to another film as long as the shooting does not clash with my pantomime season starting in December. I will be starring as a pirate wearing my trademark hook and eye patch which I made famous in the Bluesmoke films and also quoting many of my famous lines from the Bluesmoke films."
